Denise Sarfo

Advisor for VOAW. Currently, she is assisting the organization with the development and implementation of new projects aimed at gender equality. Denise holds a master’s degree in Public International and European Union law which she obtained at Erasmus University in Rotterdam and is currently pursuing a second interuniversity and interdisciplinary master's degree in Gender and Diversity at Ghent University. Denise is passionate about improving the position of marginalised groups and tackling social inequalities through her work. In her free time, Denise enjoys writing poetry and participating in spoken word events. Her interest in gender inequality and the role and position of women in society is also reflected as an important theme for her poetry.
